Dimino Basil Pesto and Sundried Tomatoes Pasta

Ingredients for 4-5 persons:

Dimino Sicilian Basil Pesto 2 jars of 180g each

Dimino Olive Oil 50ml

Dimino Sicilian Sundried tomatoes 8 fillets

Dimino Sicilian Almonds 30gr

Italian Fusilli or Penne Molisana 500g

150 gr of fresh Broccoli 

1 garlic clove for tossing the broccoli


Bellissimo Sicilian dish to enjoy with your loved ones with a quick preparation.

The ingredients provided are for 4-5 people. 


Put water for pasta on to boil and add salt to it when it becomes pretty well boiling. Remember the Pesto is ready for you hence toss in a pan the broccoli with a clove of garlic and Dimino Olive Oil. Add some pasta water and cook them for around 4-5 minutes keeping them crunchy. Season the broccoli with salt, pepper and once cooked leave them to rest in a bowl.  Now finish the prep chopping  8  Sun-dried Tomatoes and crashing 30gr of almonds ( turn them into small bits).

Back to the boiling pasta water, add salt and drop the pasta to cook according to packet instructions.

Just before the pasta is ready, remove about two spoon of cooking water, and reserve it. When the pasta is cooked as desired, drain it and add the pesto, a little reserved pasta water, if needed, to help amalgamate the sauce, a drizzle of Dimino Olive Oil, the sun-dried tomatoes.  Now plate the pasta, add the broccoli on the top and scatter with chopped almonds and Parmesan cheese. Enjoy it!
