Sicilian Orange Jam Tart, Dimino's Mother Recipe

2 cups of flour
3 tablespoons of sugar
1/2 cup of Dimino extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon of baking powder
Pinch of salt
Orange zest
1 egg
Pinch of cinnamon
300gr Dimino orange jam


Preheat the oven at 180 degrees Celsius.
Whisk together the egg and the sugar, then add the flour, the baking powder, pinch
of salt, orange zest and in the end Dimino olive oil. Start to bring the mixture together to
form a dough. Knead the pastry till has become a smooth ball and afterward lay the
pastry into a 24cm tart pan, add Dimino orange jam and sprinkle over with some
cinnamon powder.
Bake for 30 minutes till golde
